Exotic Fish?

Any body know of any really rare exotic smaller fresh wate fish that could be kept in a 36g. I mean ones you wouldn't normally think of when deciding on what kind of tank to build.

go with blind cave tetras, they are common, but few people actually keep them and have very unique appearance
