southern california
this is probably a outdoor pond question but i live in temecula southern california and i was wondering if a coconut palm would survive here i already have birdsofparadise flowers and a lot of different palms such as alot of cuban and queen palms a sago palm and alot of pygmy palms but would a coconut palm and other exotic palms live here?

just to help you guys decide on the answer i will be getting it as a juvanile palm from ebay from a palm grower who grows the exotic palms and bannana trees to be extremely cold hardy the coconut palm will be a south american mountian coconut palm that grows fast and is cold hardy to 20 degrees farenhiet i live in temecula california and it never gets that cold even in the coldest of winters the coldest it has ever gotten here was 31 degrees farenhiet the pond didnt freeze and that was a wile ago i will be getting it because i like the look of coconut palms so i want one near my outdoor pond wich already has a ton of palms and other exotic plants and is a tropical pond that will be heated in winter and i like coconuts :)
