My fiancee picked up this awesome book for 50 cents, pretty awesome, Exotic Tropical Fishes 26th edition by Several Authors, its from 1977 i thought it was pretty awesome flipping through this book and seeing all the knowledge that was around in '77.
well guys just wanted to share an aweomse thrift shop find

It can be fun looking back and seeing what's changed and what hasn't needed any changing. I have fishkeeping and ID books going back to the mid 1800s. A few are real collectors items since they have illustrations which are made with woodblock stamping then, hand-painted.

Great find. I have a piranha book from the 60s or early 70s. Almost all the species names have changed and and most of the pics are misidentified.
