Exotic white deer spotted in Southern Washington
CAMAS, Wash. - Some Camas residents got quite a surprise when they spotted an exotic white deer this week.
Sally Johnston snapped pictures of the buck while it was in her neighbor's yard.
Wildlife officials say the animal is a white Fallow Deer that escaped from a farm south of La Center a week ago.
Three wildlife officers were in the Prune Hill area on Thursday where the buck was last spotted. They are hoping to capture the animal before it breeds with the native deer species.
