My dream tank was constructed two weeks ago and now is ready to be picked up.
I am, I mean me and 10 friends are doing the big move this Saturday morning.
I am now in the process of making room for the monster and have to shift three 55g growout tanks that are making way for the 8'x4'x28" monster tank and stand.
I am also looking for a suitable trolley or dolley to move the tank onto for easy transport from the truck to my fishroom.
I am very, very nervious about moving this tank but extremly excited about setting it up and will keep everone updated on the move and setup.

I am now trying to make sure I have everything necessary for an easy move.
Any last minute tips or ideas that I may need to consider??

Congratulations! like above glass or acrylic? Sump ? Multiple canisters?

10 people because it's glass, I am going to run a 55g wet/dry sump and a Jebo giant 950 canister.

Go with a larger sump, like buy a 100 gallon rubbermaid. And maybe go with a few canisters.

Make sure you bring lots of paddings or cushions for example... blankets. To support and prevent the unwanted from happening while transporting it on your truck!
I know your excited to get it into your house and set it up but SERIOUSLY.... take your time buddy!! Can't wait to see pics of it.... GOOD LUCK!!

i would use a hell of alot bigger than a 55 gallon tank.... 100 gallon ruuber maid 150 rubbermaid be perfect... as far as dollys get the heavy duty ones from HD.... also get online now and order atleast 2 pair of those glass suction cups or find somebody to let you borrow them.... trust me they will make you life easier and will be a godsend... i have moved a few large glass tanks get those suction cups

Wewill all have rubber glass handling gloves and two pairs of suction pads maybe more if I can hire some together with the trolley/dolley.
The sump will become a double 55g sump joined via a tank adaptor once fish have been moved from their growouts after the initial move.
I might keep the canister and the two sumps or run two sumps and remove the canister.
The tank has been drilled with two returns and overflows.
