Expensive dithers!

So my frontosa was fighting with my $30 synodontis too much, so the obvious logical thing is to spend like $300 on other cool fish to use as dithers!

Enter my albino compressiceps!



Really really dig their jaw-line, and I'm not always that into African cichlids.

Thanks to my LFS, Pacific Aquarium, for picking these guys up. Eating NLS right out the bag.

Cool, albino! I really like their jawline too, and it's neat to see them swimming at an angle when they're "hunting". Mine gets an intense look that just cracks me up.

Yeah, these fish are totally awesome.

As an update, all of them are doing well, my frontosa rarely chases them although I think his aggression with the syno has lowered a bit due to just having more things to look at. He will still charge the syno, but doesn't seem to really try to savage it as much.

And the best news is that all of the new guys are already eating NLS pellets!
