Expensive trip

Just so happened to be by a LFS (guess it’s not too local at 45 minutes away) I don’t frequent much but has a great stock. I actually saw this NGT last time I was there but was hesitant on the price and decided to hold off. Just so happens he was still there Sunday and decided to shoot. Fish is about 3” and from what I gathered online I paid the going rate for how rarely they are seen. The store was feeding the tank he was in a mixture of krill and pellets and said he’ll readily take krill. Unfortunately haven’t seen him eat yet but I’m hoping my other two dats sway him to pellets. Really excited and happy with this pickup.

Only progress so far is readily taking frozen krill which was a huge relief. He’s somewhat curious of pellets but hasn’t taken any yet which is expected. I’m happy though he really broke the aggression of the larger AT dat. I’ll update with more pictures this weekend.

Excuse the messy tank in the background but he’s doing well. Surprised how passive he is. He’s been going after pellets but not eating them. Currently trying to bulk up on krill. Very happy the aggression between all dats has almost seized.
