I am about to add a ray to a community tank but there a few cories still in there, and I am wondering if I should def. remove them or try mixing them for a bit.

I am particularily curious/worried about the reverse barbs on the corey cats making them stick in a ray throat and harming the ray.

Thanks, Branden

Pull them. Also take any Steve Irwins out of your tank. Ohh....Too soon?

Easy snacks indeed, my Ray tried to eat a balzani Geo, and a baby with yolk disappeared.. who knows..

corys are just goin to be munchies, if ur ray isnt fed enough!

great, thanks for the quick response all. as long as the ray would be okay I will probably try it. I like to keep my rays fat so hopefully that will help a little too. plus my tank is divided so the FRT stays on the other half and the cories can go over there and be safe anytime. the discus and aro can go wherever they want too.

thanks guys :)

Take them out I 've seen a ray die threw a cory cat. The are snacks till one sticks his barb out. So a definit no don't mix.

Yes but no adult (specially pregnant females) rays with discus. I'm having a new tank in a few months and on the botom I will have only juvi stingrays about 15 till 20 in the middle a group of nice discus and at the top a few red aros. Sentpictures when it is finnisched.
