Experience with Aimara Wolves?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I have never owned one but its my dream fish so I would say yes. After all the vids and pics I have seen of them Im determined to have one one day.

what's the minimum tank size for a single aimara for life. What tanksize do they need for the first 3 years??

if your looking for a wolffish and your not planning on putting other fish in the tank with him than I think Its the best way to go. but I agree with the tank space, they need alot if you want them to get large and its alot for one fish. Ive seen one at 30inch in a 300g and with the extra space I would be thinking alot about trying to mix him with others even tho you know mostlikely it wont end good. But Its an awsome fish and I think its still worth it if you have the extra space.

Depends what you are after. They are awesome fish but will require a large amount of space. if you are happy with one fish then they are great. Many have kept them with other fish. I have two and one of them is kept with Brycon and Tiger fish. If the fish does not compete directly for territory it can work out.
