Does anyone use/have used Penn Plax stands for a 55g? I'm buying a new setup tomorrow and would like to buy a stand, and this is the only one I saw that I could afford. Should I be able to trust them?

Reviews on Petco.com aren't the greatest. Lots of people said they weren't very sturdy... I just want to hear from actual fishkeepers.

Thanks for the input BTW.

Are those the metal ones? If so, I wouldn't say they aren't sturdy... only that the machining isn't perfect. Mine wobbles a little bit when there's no tank on it (I broke down that tank, it's holding boxes for the move now), but could handle a panzer strike.

I have always loved pennplax's products and have never had a single problem. Great quality!

I've decided I'm probably gonna go with the Dr. Foster's one because
A) Doesn't look so flimsy
B.) Not iron so won't rust
C.) Can hold a second 55g if needed
