Experience with this fish food?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
IMHO, a food that is in the same league as most Tetra products. Stingy on the quality proteins/fats, while they use lower quality. and less costly grain based ingredients as main components of most of their formulas. Sera used to live high off of their name, today many consumers are too wise to get sucked in by name alone. Bettas eat insects in the wild, not corn, and not wheat, and terrestrial based grains should not be main components of any species of insectivorous fish. They "soften quickly" as advertised due ot the massive amount of starch in the formula - just like white bread would if you dropped it into the tank. Major fail in my books.

Sera Bettagran

Colour enhancing pellets for betta fish.

This food is specially designed to meet the requirements of Bettas and other small insectivorous fish. These fine pellets sink down very slowly, soften quickly and remain stable for a long time. They contain valuable ingredients that provide a balanced diet and ensure healthy, splendidly coloured fish.

Ingredients: Corn starch, wheat gluten, fish meal, wheat flour, fish oil, brewers yeast, spirulina, wheat germ meal, herbs, alfalfa, stinging nettle meal, gammarus, sea algae meal, parsely, parika, spinach meal, carrots, green lipped mussel meal, garlic, colourants (astaxanthin, FD&C red #3)

Guaranteed Analysis:

•Min. Crude Protein 39.2%
•Min. Crude Fat 8.3%
•Min Crude Fibre 4.2%
•Max. Moisture 6.3%
•Max. Crude Ash 4.0%
