I have been emailing the sales department thru the website for The Wet Spot but I have not received any responce. Are they usually slow to respond? How have YOUR experiences with them been?

While I think most have had good experiences with them, I haven't. I ordered 6 motaguense from them and none of them turned out to be motaguense. 2 loisellei, 2 I figured were la ceiba, and I couldn't figure out what the last 2 were.
But I doubt if any store/vendor will have 100% good experiences. Give them a chance and if for some reason it doesn't work out then don't shop with them again.

I ordered from them once...overall experience was fair. Got what I ordered (group of 6 vieja argentae fry). Communicated through emails. They responded within 24 hours.

Ordered multiple times and always got what I ordered. They are big, so sometimes things may fall through as far as email goes
Was told they would look into something and call me back never got that call. I can only assume they didn't want my money so I have it to someone else. I have little patience with such things.
I'm the same, haven't ordered with that company; but when it comes to buying things, I hate having to actively try and chase/work for a purchase, should be the other way around
The supply side of their stock is second to none. Their in store help is generally a bunch of Portland kids. If you can cut through that layer and get to the management side you should have a good experience.
I've heard they have fantastic fish but last time I called twice. Once left a message because it was before hours and the second I got the brush off because they were slammed and it was right before they were going to cut off shipping for holidays.
