I have a 30gal. tank setup and i put 3 baby RBPs. Well its been about 3weeks and two of

them got really big and the other one just stayed small. its like 2x smaller than them. So

i got this great i idea to get another one about the same size as the baby and put a

divider in the tank. Im feeding the babies twice as much. But i have a bad feelin about

takin the divider down. What do u guys think?

Tats a good idea because I allways get mad that one or two of my fish out grow the
rest , I want them to all be big .
SOMEONE MUST BE THE BOSS OR BOSSES .
But if it works or not you will be the man for experimenting for all of us so I say
thank you . And I do not think its bad idea to remove the spliter .
In the next 4 reply someone will tell you 30 gal to small for 4 reds . I will not .

As long as both pairs have plenty of room to swim, sounds like a good idea to me. Got any pictures? Remember the risks of just having just two piranhas together though, so keep an eye on that.

the big ones are about a sliver dollar and the other ones are like quater size

Ok Well Make It Three . A 30 Gal Is To Small For 4 Red's Mabe Pull One Or Two At
5" Let Us Know How It Goes And Keep Us Posted .

Ah i just re-read and noticed your tank size.
If you are talking full adult silver dollar size, we are looking at two of them being 5 or 6 inches. If that is the case, that 30 gallon is already looking small, let alone with the other two. Most people’s advice would be to get the full adult recommended tank size now, to save you and your fish hassle in the very near future. Healthy piranhas will grow at about 1 inch per month until they hit 6 or 7 inches (so those two small ones don't have long). Any chance you can get a 75 or 80 gallon setup?

my bad they are only babies, they still t r about 2-3 inches long at most..........But today is the big day im taking down the divider they are almost about the same size. im been power feeding the little ones so they are about their. I think im goin to feed the crap out of them before i do. ill keep you guys posted of the out come.

Excellent, take some pictures as well!
Indeed good idea, feed both pairs to the max before removing the divider.

whats up everybody? everything is all good they keep their space everybody eats gets their own fill so i guess it really worked out thanks for everyones advice
