the Office living in the now...
I just picked this juvie up. It looks like a Serra Rhom if I am not mistaken. Anybody have an idea of where this fish originated? could you tell by looking at this photo? I wonder how he will turn out when he is mature. I hope its the jet black kind.:popcorn:

there is no way to look at a fish and tell where it was collected by the looks I'd say rhom maybe a diamond var.....

Today as I type would be the second day... I have had experience with baby Rhoms, red bellies, and gold Piranhas. I found this on craigslist and with tank space, i figure I would save it.
 
Good news on my new Rhom. I have not given him/her a name yet but I had a jumbo sized raw tiger shrimp in his tank all night on day 3 and he took 1 good size bite out of it. :grinno:
 
eating is always a good sign, don't leave the shrimp in the tank for too long.
just cut it into smaller piece so it's something your serra might be able to finish and can save you some food.
