first off i will say i understand these fish will not all live in this tank forever and i dont want anyone shooting anyone down on this thread if we can manage that...!-)
i believe theres many more people like me mixing all sorts of aggressive fish with varying degrees of success most of whom will be to scared to post here because off the repercussion's!
my tank has a 20 foot footprint and is 2 foot deep, the dimensions are in my signiture, i have a 5x2x2 empty on standby also i have a divider.
my stock largest to smallest;
14 inch black devil catfish, hemibagrus wyckii
13 inch sailfin plec
12 inch midas male/ 7inch female
11 inch suncat
11 inch dovii male/ 7inch female
10 inch short body rtc
8 inch syno cat eruptus i think
7 inch ornate pim catfish
7 inch male and female 'rio tumbes' festae
there is an odd fight,
obviously the dovii and midas have a turf war now and again but no injurys, both have spawned at the same time in this tank so they cant be that stressed!
suncat was lip locking with the midas yesterday, amusing.
pleco hates the rtc and chases him ramming him as a hobbie i think!-)
nothing is allowed in the wyckii's cave
midas have the left, festae milk around in the middle dovii have the left...
its working pretty well atm, so who else? anyone or am i the only one trying these things?
