Expressing out koi eggs

I had a female koi that had an external egg sac last year that finally fell off. This year her width just kept growing and growing until she looked like she swallowed a baseball. I then realized I had to express her eggs because they were not coming out on their own. I used my thumb and did my best but did not know how hard to press down. Some came out but definitely not all.

Can anyone advise me how to do it properly?

get a male koi or large gold fish they know what to do

Hankn, interesting situation for me. Would like to know the answer as well. But if I were you, I couln not keep my self trying once more and this time pushing a little bit harder to see if it works.

timing is everything without knowing when she is ready you could have more then an ''external egg sac '' protruding
