Have a 220 that is drilled and over 6 feet from the floor to the top drain. Wanted to use up some extra plumbing parts I have a round as added filtration before going to the sump. Will this add any value. I have 2 x 220 s draining freely into the sump but will only be using the tower for the top tank. Deer **** is clay pellets made in Germany that are almost 0 buoyancy. Sump works fine but I will be changing the tanks over to South American with a lot of drift wood and large fish.

Clay pellets that look like deer ****. Just didn't want to redo my drawing. Sump is filled with Siporax and filter socks before with a large fluidized sand filter. Just wondering about the plumbing and if the flange is necessaet or a better idea to keep pipe upright. Wanted the drain on the bottom instead of an end cap so no dead zone ..

OOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH lol i was gettin a little worried there LOL

Your going big time.

Have a lot of extra plumbing fittings, pipes and valves hanging around. Have to buy the reducer from 6 inches to 4 if I go that route or just drill a cap and add a ball valve on the bottom if too expensive. Don't have the flanges but wanted to be able to take apart idealy.
