Extension for my glass canopy??

The OP said he needs a glass canopy that is 24" front to back so that is definitely not a standard 75G tank.
 
If you give us the tank dimensions we could tell you what it is.

My guess would be that it's actually a 120, not a 75. The 120 is the only 2 section, 24" deep tank that I know of.
I would guess the dimensions are 48x24x24
