I'm getting a 100 gallon and I want to sump it. I was going to drill the side and fit an external durso drain, maybe 2.
Anyone any success or tips? I run internal now On one tank but hate setting them up.
I run another smaller tank with just 2 simple drain lines on the side of the tank using 90 degree elbows at water surface level and no air holes or anything fancy and they work a treat. I'm wondering why do I even need durso type drains and just have the Same as I have on my small tank.
Any experience or suggestions people?
