External filter pipe positioning

Hi all i have just recently upraded from 190l to 450l,the 450 is running 2 fluval 405 external filters

I was just wondering were you guys position your filter inlet /outlet tubes i have mine in the two rear corners inlet about 1 inch above the gravel and the outlet 1 inch below the surface

Should i move one of the outlets so it is about halfway down the tank as i think the bottom half of the tank is not getting much movement
does anybody else do this and does it help?

if you want more movement in the water then you can reposition the outputs. or add a powerhead. when i try to put my outtake on the opposite side of the tank to help push the debris to the intake. But you have to filters so maybe just lower on of the out takes.
