hey what is the best method to cure parasites...i think my arowana have parasites...would raising the temperature and adding salt help ? and if if that doesn't work what is the best medication to treat parasites...

ive had good luck with jungles parasite clear tabs on my fahaka and jardini, but pix of the parasites would help. i dont suggest using any med till you have the proper diagnosis.
i just pour in some pimaflex??? are those good ?? my tank is 300 gallon..im not sure what parasite it is..but it is sometthing stickin out of it by the gill area...not sure if it is anchor worm or not b/c it doesnt have split ends...
Those meds don't really cure parasites. They will stop any secondary infection your fish would get from a parasite infection.
I suggest using something that specifically says for parasites on it. The salt will help but you still might want something else.
As for the feeding. I don't think you ever would want to stop feeding a fish if its eating. Especially if its attempting to get over an illness.

is there any other meds that is safe for other fish in the same tank too...right now i see like about 3-4 parasite or velvet but i dont see any on the other fish..only the arowana
Listen up melafix and or pimafix are basicly anti bacterial agents they WILL NOT REMOVE PARASITES -Anne
