External parasites

I have a buddy who just started a tank only have a couple fish he said he seen some small white parasites in his water what can he buy that will kill the parasites or what do he have to do I didn't have the answer I never had that problem

You don't really have external parasites. If i had to guess without a picture, I would say they are planaria worms. Commonly caused by overfeeding and leaving uneaten food in the tank.

^ First and foremost, ask your friend to take a picture of the problem area so we can see if it is planaria or something else...

But if it is planaria, then the easiest way to get rid of them is cut back on feeding, since their population tends to explode if there is a lot of un-eaten food around, and also, be sure to clean out the substrate properly to make sure no food is trapped inside leaving another food source for the planaria...
