I've been looking into different pumps and think I'm going to go with the panworld 100px-x.

I just wanted to know if anyone has experience with this pump.
I will be putting it on my closed loop 125 with 2 nu-clear filters inline and maybe 4 or 5 90's...

Will this put out too much flow for a 125? It will be a freshwater planted tank

Any help or advice would be helpful!

haha, yea i have a feeling that wouldn't really cut it...

So should I go for the 100px-x? I don't have a lot of head height so don't really want to spend the extra money on the more powerful pumps

The pump doesn't seem very efficient. A quiet one 4000 uses 50 watts and is about 1000 GPH max; I think they can be run externally as well as submerged.

I was thinking about the quiet one pumps too but would have to start at least at the 5000 since the 4000 loses so much power after only a couple of feet head... I couldn't find any flow charts for the panworld 50px-x though, i'd like to see them along with the others they sell.
