Extra plants -- what do I do?

Do you know if LFS's will take back the portions of a plant you didn't use? I was just putting a small bit of plant in my tank, but I've got a HUGE amount leftover.

Do I just throw it away? Give it away?

This seems pretty dumb to ask but what do you all do?

I'm kind of curious to know what kind of plant it was that meant you had so much left over? I highly doubt any LFS will take it back except to possibly throw it in with some Silver Dollars.

dang, im in the opposite situation. i onyl have one plant in my 50 gallon =\.
none of my LFS have any good plants.

Hello If you still have the plant perhaps someone would send a payment for shipping with pay pal and you just send it too someone who wanted it like paOol

Myself I try and let them at least float untill the next fish meeting someone is sure too want them

Howdy,

Call your LSF before you try it in person - I doubt they take them back, a call will safe you the drive.

I gave plants to friends in town, however, they now have enough. Thus, I generally throw them away. Not worth the wrapping and shipping ...
