Some of mine:

Poly bit off an ACF's back legs. It swam with the front legs, ate fine, and never got sick. Still alive and tripling my bioload as always.

Found a ropefish in the morning a full 10 feet from his tank (still alive and well)

One time my heater exploded

My insane Lau Lau catfish decided to eat a plastic plant.... well.... as you can see, it poked out of him a total of 4 times. Crazy part is that it is still alive!

Not really my story... Nor a fish story... But my dad kept alligator snapping turtles as a kid, and one day when the heater clicked on, the turtle saw the light and that movement triggered him to attack. He instantaneously snapped the heater to the point where just the live wires were dangling less than an inch from the waters surface. Nearly killing itself
