so i have a 3" lucino oscar and he's gotten what looks like an injury on his eye.. i had him in a tank with a JD and they did awesome together.. (same size..) until the JD came down with ich and fin/tail rot.. and my oscar got just the tail rot. so i treated for ich, the JD got better.. both of they're fins started healing.. but the oscar got the ich.. so i retreated.. he started looking better except for a bit of cloudyness and what looked like ich growin on his eyes.. after what looked like ich on his eyes went away.. i noticed his eyes were no longer round.. they looked like they were cracked.. now it looks like both of his lenses are peeling off almost.. ive treated with erithramiacin (however you spell it) and still nothing.. there also is a small patch developing just above his trailing fin on one side..
my biggest question is will he get his vision back.. because he no longer seems to be able to see anything more than a shadow.. he used to follow my finger.. and now he keeps trying to bite at his food.. but misses.. (pellets, bloodworms.. ect) like he can smell it but not get it.. most of his food ends up in the filter inlet..
ive also removed him from the tank with the JD because the JD started niping fins.. the eyes i noticed before hand.. so unless the JD niped his eyes.. i dunno...
