eye problem on Rhom

holy crap at first i was like i dont see nothing wrong with it then i see the little thing hanging i have no clue what that is i have a one eyed spilo and at first he had a something kinda like that but it was on the eye socket were he had no eye
it feel off
 
I would try doing salt treatments first, then see what happens from there
 
i agree salt treatments
 
kinda looks like maybe a parasite

try some protozin this sould help covers a lot of different illnesses should be able to get it from your local fish shop is a uk product

Becareful with Protozin as it says not to use with Piranahas although I do and had no adverse effects.
Do you know if the Rhom rubs its eye on the glass alot as thats what it looks like to me... does he make it chase his finger as the tend to run the eye along the glass and of course all the crap rubs into the eye.
Other than that try course of melifix treatment .
Um not sure what else to suggest with out looking.

We have cured it Dosed it up with a strong ante parasitic medication but the thing that made a big difference was to take all the substrate out he was rubbing his face in it after taking that out and with the medication we have had a 70% improvement in literally days.
