F/GAR STAPLE DIET

Hi,

I will like to find if i can feed my f/gar a staple diet of Hikari Bio Gold pellets, If not what else must i feed him to ensure that he is in good heath. He is currently on 30cms/12inchs

I'm guessing that F/Gar stands for Florida Gar? I feed mine 3 different types of Hikari cichlid pellets along with thawed shrimp, chopped earthworms, crickets, Hikari Massivore and Floating Predator Sticks.

You are right it is a Florida Gar. Thanks for the advise will try some of your suggestions
