Does anybody have Amano's phone number? I need that guy to swing by here and get me set up with some ground cover. My glossostigma is officially dead. This is my third attempt with ground cover, and believe me, I've tried everything in books that I could think of, from fertilizers, to metal halide bulbs, to c02 cannisters. @#$@@#$!@$#!$@!@#$%^$&

how long did it last
i just planted 2 bunches last week i just stuck the bunch into my subsrate without separating and spacing out
it seems to be doing fine
i have heard it needs pretty strong light to stay low and spread also rich substrate
have you tried Riccia

i have as strong a light as you can have and i have laterite for substrate mixed in with gravel. i dont know what riccia is.

My glossostigma grows under 232 watts and iron fertilizer, CO2 and much fertilizion in the substrate. I actually think it is quite simply..

my glossostigma lasted for a month this time around. this was my second attempt. im not sure what my wattage is on my light. It's pretty big though. I have 3 metal halide bulbs goin. i have 5 c02 cannisters and I have laterite with the fertilizer you put in the substrate. I keep reading and hearing how simple this is, but all my attempts fail and I'm gettin a concussion from bangin my head off the wall.

The key question is: Did you also use the ADA substrate? I had it in an 80 gal, Glossostigma grew great ... where it wasn't uprooted by my corydoras...
