That's a big FH, and they can be pretty nasty. How big is the aro and how big is the tank? In a massive tank with plenty of other fish I'd say it could work, but if it's just the two of them...

Fh with smaller aro and small tank equals disaster. As said above larger aro with a fh with tankmates and dither maybe.

You can never know for sure until you try it. Even then it may only work for a while.

From my experience, Flowerhorns will obliterate anything in your tank. I had trouble doing water changes because mine was so aggressive.

I have a friend with a 12" silver aro with a 6" flowerhorn + other fish, in a 240 gallon tank.
They are doing fine together.
