Well i figure its about time for an update on my wild group:) except im ive only got a few pics of a pair forming. The male and female are looking great!!! male is about 5" and female 4" both showing great color and potential so far. i just sold a group of 3 and culled a group of 3 as they werent up to my standards. which leaves me around10-12 i think including the pair. Ive spotted a couple more females in the group about 3-3.5" starting to show color as well, which i plan on keeping also. as for the rest of the group, they will be serving as growouts/dithers for my forming pair and any possible second pair once the pair bonds and is pulled. after i get my pair or two, ill sell off whats left. not the best pics as the tank theyre in has alot of stains in the glass and not the best lighting. but ill try to get some pics when they are in better view of the light:) lol And yes the male has a belly because he is a PIG!!! This is also the only group of festae ive ever owned that will eat from my hand, which i think is cool because even any growout fry ive owned in the past wouldnt do that:/

Thank you guys:) I agree about having extra females in there. It's become especially helpful for me in pairing up Festae. Hopefully they don't get beat up too much as I'm very interested in seeing how they turn out:)

Yes Mike, actually there's two istlanums in there. The only two survivors from the group I got from gage a while back. I think male and female but could be two males... Not sure yet, but they definitely hold their own in this tank lol
