f1 barred midas

Haven't updated these 2 in a while.

7" male

and the 6" female on the other side of the divider who has still never laid eggs.. At this point I'm starting to wonder if it's a she.

These 2 just really don't like each other unfortunately. I wouldn't keep more than a handful of fry if they bred anyways I had to hard of a time getting rid of my f2 amphilophus sagittae fry locally. +/- comment are welcome let me know what you guys think.

Have you tried gutloading the questionable female with proteiny foods then raising the temp?
Ovipositor ever revealed?

Thanks everybody I'm glad everybody loves big fat midas as much as me. I'm not too worried about getting them breeding because like I said they don't like each other much. I was taking the divider out every few months and cutting bigger holes in the divider for her but now it's just a mess because they will lock lips and pull each other back and fourth and scratch each other up. They're still young so maybe they'll get along some day. Until then they're like the best 2 fish anyways, they're full of personality. I need to get a video of some glass banging.
