This pair is 8-9 inches, 1.5 yrs old and has spawned several times for me. Ive had them since they were fry at around 2".
They have been in a community in the past and I have never seen them the least bit aggressive to be honest. They spawned in a 265 with about 20 or so other cichlids in the tank and never even messed with any of the other fish...but thats NOT to say that wont happen, as most of you know already.
Currently eating a varied diet of earthworms, shrimp, mealworms, pellets and more.
I just got them back from a local university 4 days ago where I had moved them for 6 months and they are in great condition, aside from the male needing to be fed a lot more than he was. I have a hunch the female was eating all the food, as shes the more outgoing/social of the 2.
Pickup only in Wilmington NC.
$125 for the pair. Possibly negotiable, and I might be willing to trade for a tank setup or other fish, just ask!
