F1 EQUADOR FESTAE NEW!!!!

Hello Everyone,
I just got a new festae we picked up locally, we bought as a
F1 Equador True Terror, what do you guys think thanks.
We put it in our 100 gallon with 10 full grown blood red jewel cichlids.

I had over 20 Fully grown Blood Red and Red jewels total, and some convicts in there, we down sized to 10 total now and no convicts, The jewels will be moved out eventually for this one festae to live in, currently its as 3'' total lengthView attachment 725562

Whats the difference between a festae Ecuador and amphilophus festae? i bought fish from this place and on the advertisment it said the amphilophus festae but when i recieved them it said festae Ecuador?

Amphilophus is the genus of the fish (although I believe they're classified as Ex-Cichlasoma right now) while Ecuador is where the supposed collection point of the original wild pair was.

Festae are no longer Amphilophus they are now ex Cichlisoma. Festae Equador is just your normal Cichlisoma Festae from Equador. Nothing fancy.

were very excited to have found this we paid 29.99 locally

Oh ya sorry, he looks gorgeous the red looks nice how big is he? is that a good price for them? i bought 5 fry for $25 but i've never seen them in any LFS

Nice festae. I never see them in my lfs so I had to order mine.
