These Heros fry are the result of a wild male I purchased from jgentry and a wild female that came from another MFK user a few years ago. Here is a picture of the mother.

I'm selling the juveniles in groups of 6 for $50 which includes USPS Priority shipping. Fish get packed individually in breather bags with a 72-hour heat pack. I can also ship Express or Overnight but you'll have to pay the difference. PM me if you need more info.

Just a brief word on this species -- These are large-growing, bulky severums. The parents are well over 10", thick, and extremely powerful (as I found out when I tried to strip fry from the female). They work well with all sorts of cichlids; mine have been kept with all other species of severums, festivums, Krobia, pike cichlids, medium and large Geophagus, Hoplarchus psittacus, large Laetacara thayeri, etc. I have never had a problem. They will definitely get aggressive at breeding time but they've never done any major damage to other fish. Overall they're an interesting, personable, large severum and they make great community additions.

I'm in Palm Coast, about halfway between Jacksonville and Orlando.

I'd prefer to ship a minimum of six, otherwise it's a lot of trouble to package them. Pickups/meeting in person is a different story. You can have as few or as many as you want if you're willing to drive for them.

Bump

I haven't gotten a single hit here or on Aquabid. I can't believe I spent months raising these fish only to cull the whole batch.
