Beautiful fish! Do wild amps grow as large nuchal humps? Or do they grow larger in captivity because of all of the optimal conditions.
Ah makes sense, I know alphas are always larger and showier. its interesting that they go beyond the size they would if they were in the wild in order to outcompete tankmates.This tank should be called, Buddy's Bruisers. lol
They grow larger in captivity, especially when males are kept in the company of other males.
