They are I know the guy who is selling them. His male and female are beautiful. They are from Jeff rapps I believe.

It's impossible at that size to ID 100%. Monos, ocells, kelberis etc all look alike at this size. Pics of the parents would be moe helpful.
 
The member whose fry these are is borchbuild. He has video of the parents. He actually just sent one to me.

View attachment 2012-07-06_11.30.54.jpg Just below the 12 oclock position on the Clay Plate are eggs .Not a big Spawn compared to many Monoculus spawns in the past. This is there second Spawn. I use two ladders to harvest the eggs..one to climb up to the edge of the tank and the other to climb down inside the tank.The water is mid to upper 70s alittle warmer then South eastern Brazil. The Ph is in the 6s. 18 days after the first spawn I added 1 cup o Brightwell tannins to my 900 gallons every day for 1 week. The 2" fingers look just like Monoculus. I beleive these Cichla came of age and the up and down Barimetric Pressure triggered her brain (Endocrine system)to start Ovulation.

Thanks borchbuild for chiming in on the thread!!!!! Borchbuild is a Solild fish keeper, not just in cichla. I believe he is also selling is breeding pair of peru mono. those are also some stunners and have produced countless batches of fry! here is a video of the kelb. thought id i help ya out!
