As much as I hate to, I am having to sell this guy. Currently he is barred but from what I have been reading lately it might be because the "dominant" ones in the wild display more color. He is 7" long as as you can see very thick. Hopefully will have someone here at MFK who lives in the area want him and put him in a good sized tank. He is the dominant male from another batch of Midas I raised and is going to be a beast in his own right like his older brother. Thought about keeping him, but I don't think I will have the room and descided it best to focus on the one male. He just needs his own tank to grow into and become the true beast he is ment to be.

Nice barred Midas. At that size, the bars should be permanent. I like that look more than the prevalent orange/white color.

You would think, but I have seen some at 10" peel. Not to mention his parents were not barred. Either way, he is going to be an awsome fish. I just don't have the room for him.
