Took a break from studying and "Blue Demp" has been hounding me for an update so here it is. Here are some of my Pride and Joy. F2 8" Male Midas grow out. Currently housed in a 125g with Tiger Barbs(All 3 types) and clown loaches. He is about 11 months old. I used Reef Lighting to help bring out his color by causing the body to produce more vitamin D as he would if he was in the sun. Also seems to mess with my camera when taking pictures. I am still figuring out how to take pictures with it, no Mo Devlin or Green Terra lol. Got the idea from Chris. Enjoy

Not really, just the occasional half hearted chase to let everyone know he is top dog. Couldn't catch them anyway as he is such a pudge. lol. Only thing he really gets nasty with is my wife's pomeranian when she passes by. lol.

I can't wait for another year. He should be atleast 12" and reaching his prime. He looks great for not even a year old.

Feeding Time:popcorn:I love the speckles on his fin. Again, credit goes to cchhcc for the Idea with the lights to bring out his color. The green algae that gros because of it is a nice contrast aswell as the black Background and sand. Just need to finish my schoal of Clown loaches and then get 4 Green Phantom Plecos and we'll be set. Getting some fake plants for background aswell.

He is looking great. I have a feeling he will be a beast in a years time.

Feakin chunk! Yea, he does kinda look like my RD. The lighting makes a big differance IMO the color really pops and I'm liking the green alge on the tank. Great job, I know he's your favorite, he's going to grow into a monster. Can't waite to see him in a year.

Very nice...how big was he when you got him? Looks like he has plenty of room. I like the look of bare tanks myself especially with one large show fish. ....maybe some large rocks and piece or two of driftwood.
