F8 Puffer questions

Hey i am going to be getting two F8P in a 20 gallon tank. I was wondering what i should use as filtration? Is sand okay to use as a substrate? As for food is over the counter shrimp okay to give them?

You might want to upgrade if you get more than one puffer. Sand great. Any filtration as long as it gets the job done (HOB, biowheel ect), as for the food, try small snails, clams, frozen RAW shrimp, bloodworms, and eathworms.
