Hi everybody -

I've inserted a 50-gal. fish tank into an old upright piano. I don't know how to filter the tank as there is no space in the back. This is my first project of this magnitude, and I'm already a little over-budget, so cheap and creative ideas are welcome.
Thanks so much!

I would pick up a cheap canister filter on ebay or craigslist. It can sit down underneath the tank inside the piano, or it can sit on the floor next to it, and all you need to do is run the hoses up to the tank.

Got any pics???

Knowing precisely what space you do have available would be necessary to give our best advice...

Also knowing what kind of fish and decor you plan to keep in it will help us know how much filtration you will want/need which is important to know before making suggestions...

There are a few types of filters that are placed inside the tank itself that you may want to consider...
