One of my friends on Craigslist posted a picture of her fish...
two 2-3" Jack Dempsey's in a 5 gallon.
One of which, is not an actual Jack Dempsey. Looks like some sort of hybrid, or someother cichlid altogether that I am not familiar with.
I told her she needed at least a 55 gallon tank, but preferably a 75 or larger since she wants more fish in the future.
Her response... "oh, they are only in this tank for another 7 months, when I move. then I am getting them a bigger tank."
...I wish there was a class people could take to learn proper fish care.
I wonder how many fish die a day because of people like this. It's pretty sad.
