I have two clown loaches in the tank with them now, as long as they don't pair off they should be fine, I have other large cichlids in a tank with no problems, but if I see they're getting harassed I will separate them

Depends on the fish I have a 12" flowerhorn and a 8" female Midas and clowns. They all get a long. My clowns are 3"

Only fish I've had eat clowns was an Oscar. All other big cichlids have left them alone. Oscars gone now. Clowns priority.
