I’ve read a lot in the last few days and I think that my Flowerhorn is fading. He isn’t a golden base FH- so I didn’t suspect fading at first (He’s supposed to be a red dragon...?). I thought he was either hit by a tank mate or scraped on rocks - which caused the color differences but it’s spreading, to include his fins and tail. Is this what normal FH fading looks like? I have had several over the years and this is the first to go through this. He is roughly a year old at this point... I figure it might be “puberty” time for him!
