The big bay area
Will a 2" fahaka be alright with seven 2-3" exos. for a month in a 20 gallon?

Nice puffer . Ummmm gee that is a hard one ummm I would say , Give it a try , When
you put it in , Watch it for , 4 Drunken hours , Time will tell . I had a tank full of
African's , And one red eye puffer , The puffer ate everyones as$ .
The puffer are hard core in my book , Butt the exo in number's may frenzy
so beware .

do u think the fahaka will get picked on? or the the exo's will be for dinner

I have never put 7 exo agents one puffer . IF I HAD TO BET I WOULD PUT MY MONEY
ON THE PUFFER . I like to think the exo will pick their own destiny .
I GOT 10 $ on the puffer DO IT DO IT you have my 10 $ on Puffer . what do you
have to loose the puffer pry cost 10 $ at 2" :D .
Want pic's .

Fahaka puffers are absolutely insane. He will bite every single one of the dirty exodons until one day when he realizes that he can eat them and then one by one you an exodon will go missing. Oh and also , the nitrate levels in that tank will be huge and the puffer will die. Unless you do a water change twice a wekk which in that case you'll need a bigger tank in about 5 months max.

I was only going to leave the fahaka in there for a month then put it in a bigger tank.I just wanted to make sure he its good:headbang2

Contrary to what everyone has said I wouldn't do it. A fahaka at 2" is going to be pretty unsure of itself and will probably get stressed from the exodons flying around constantly. I don't know that they would nip him but definately stress. A fish store around me had someone drop off 10 random african cichlids from 3-4" and they let me have them free I was planning on adding them to a 125 that had only a 8" fahaka thinking if one of them got taken down by him once in a while it would be ok. They stressed him out to the point he would not eat and he was hand feeding from me before I added them. Just my two

It would work fine. I have done this exact combo many times in a LFS I worked for. Just make sure the fahaka is getting enough food. exodons will not touch snails and they rarely take black worms that are already in the soil. Exos will not mess with him. He has no scales so they could care less.
