My Fahaka puffer, Punch, recently started burying himself in the dirt again. He did it when he was little, and now that he's about 6'', he seems into it again. Took this shot when he did it right against the glass. Usually when I approach he jumps up out of the dirt for food, but I think the cell phone camera confused him.

Look at his little dirt hat!

HaHa!:) Cool!

One thing that really amazes me about these fish is how they change color so readily. I mean, in this video you can see that his potential as an ambush predator. But when you look at all the other fahaka videos that pop up on youtube, they all pretty much take on the color of the dirt around them.

I've even seen this guy float in front of a rock and line up the reddish brown streaks in his body to match the background. They're like octopuses or something!

Now i have to get one someday
Awesome fahaka ben, and the tank looks pristine.

Thanks! He's my favorite fish, overall. But he's got tough competition from my favorite cichlid.

And you can thank the huge, oft abused pleco for the tank being clean.
