My Fahaka has a name, I think. Fiona :headbang2

I do understand that putting any thing in the tank with a Fahaka is a meal at some time however the ball sharks that were in the tank we have had no luck catching wow those guys are fast

So this gave me the idea, after reading the posts on places, ottos and almost everything else being eaten, I thought an chines and/or a simeese fast, aggressive might stand a chance, my tank is Albee free and the big guy is still alive and the Fahaka does not even bother with him any more.... And he does not try for her food so ????

Anybody done this? Also they are cheap

Yay we have two danios that yank her chain buy she cannot catch them yet lol buy she has started working on ambushing them

I think it really depends on the individual puffer... my fahaka used to chase my one yellow lab around a little bit if it got too close... but now has lost interest due to the speed of the little bugger...

My pleco didnt do so well with my fahaka. It does depend on the puffer if it allows tank mates. From my experience the only tank mates that a fahaka can tolerate are fish that can fight back. I have my fahaka with a datnoid, perruno catfish, and an oscar.

As most will tell you, tank mates can last, 1 day, 1 week, 1 month even 1 year... but all it takes it your fahaka to be in the mood and its bye bye tank mates...

So in all honesty, its always going to be a gamble, which will most likely be lost in time depending on the puffer...
