Here's the deal. I have a Fahaka that I'd like to find a permanent home for. I got him for nothing and I don't want any money for him but this is not a "Free Fish" post. He's now about 11" and is in a 60x18x27 tank so he currently has plenty of room but I'd like to find somebody with a large tank that would keep him for life and give him the home he really deserves.
Awesome, personable fish, eats very well and is active all through the water column. If you're interested in having a great fish that will be a centerpiece for years to come, this is your fish. If he's not adopted, it won't bother me to keep him for a couple of years but I'd like to give someone with a life-time sized tank the opportunity to get him at this size and watch him grow to his potential monster size.
I'm located in Billerica, MA near the NH border and will NOT ship. I can meet or deliver within a reasonable distance but your best move would be to come see him in person. If you're interested, please PM me. I really want to move this fish, somebody around here must want a monster.
I've had several people inquiring about it but it needs a certain type of home. Requirements are: Tank must be minimum 24" front to back, must be kept alone or with small dithers as it WILL kill tankmates and must be in a glass tank, no wooden ponds where interaction is from top only. Particular about where this fish goes? Yes, I am.
