Fahaka puffer and plants?

One of them swims away like crazy!

That's funny.

Anyone know if there is any paternal care? Does the juveniles stay together or spread out quickly?

I just can't believe, based on their aggressive nature, how they reproduce.

Perhaps the female lays an egg ( that sends some chemical signal through the water that the male finds.) and then she just abandons the egg for the male to find..

Is it possible to "handfeed" them?

Or do they need live prey for mental stimuli?

I was thinking, perhaps tie food to fishing line and simulate live prey and sort of keep the food away from the plants.

I've seen videos of them being hand fed yet I heard it's not recommended, I haven't heard of the stimuli being needed, a lot of people feed them dead items such as shrimp, crab legs and live mussels for their teeth and because it's cheaper. Whatever you put in once it's accustomed to the diet it will eat it fast. I tried to post the link but the URL link is messing up, I'll send it to you in a message.
