Would love to know everybody's experience with these guys. A while back I was planning to get a 180 Gallon for my PBass ( was going to get a 120 at first)but I had to move so I gave him away and a Gulper Catfish. The move cost me alot of money so I had to use the money that I was saving for the tank to do that. The Peacock bass went to a 180 by himself and the gulper went to a 75. So how big of a tank should I get for one guy by himself. I also have a breeding colony of mystery snails. Also are they like saltwater puffers? Like real interactive with their owner?
Edit: I have got back on my feet again and started saving money for a bigger tank.

I got mine in May last year at about 2 inches. He is now about 10 inches. He has a 150 show to himself, 48X24X30" The need a 2' wide tank as they get 18" or more long. Right now it is more tank than it needs but is growing into it quickly. He is very interactive. He follows us around the room, always begging for food. My wife actually talks to it. I highly recommend these if you can afford having a tank this big for just one fish. I also have a small Mbu that will be going into a 600 before long.

Wow, he grew quick! I like how their faces look. They always look like they're smiling. I've kept saltwater puffers in the past and loved them. These guys are purely freshwater right. As I know GSP are brackish.

They are freshwater and Rodgers is on point. Very interactive and social fish. Also highly emotional fish. My big girl gets butthurt if I feed the Mbu first, or turn on his light first, and will pout for days.

She sounds a bit spoiled.
